Reverse 911 Registration

Sign up for the free Reverse 911 notification system so Draper City can notify you in the event of an emergency or disaster. Households with landlines are automatically registered in Reverse 911. However, all residents are encouraged to register multiple contacts paths including cell phone numbers and email addresses.

In order to receive emergency notifications, Draper residents can sign up for Reverse 911 through Salt Lake VECC and through Utah Valley Emergency Notification System. It is important for Draper’s Suncrest residents to sign up for both notification systems since the neighborhood spans across both counties. More information about each notification system is below.

Salt Lake Valley Emergency Communications Center (VECC)

VECC is a consolidated 911 Police/Fire Dispatch Center serving all communities in Salt Lake County except Salt Lake City and Sandy City. VECC uses the region’s 911- database, and only landline numbers are automatically added into the system. You will need to register if you have an alternate telephone system provider, such as a cell phone, a cable network or a Voice over IP provider (VoIP). Once you have registered, you will receive an email from Self-Registration@dccnotify.com. Open the email and click on the link to verify your email address.

Utah Valley Emergency Notification System

Sign up for the Utah Valley Emergency Notification System by selecting the sign-up tab on the right-hand side of the page. Utah Valley has a Dispatch Special Service District that is a public safety communications center answering and dispatching 911 emergency calls for police, fire and emergency medical needs. You will need to enter a Utah County city that is near Draper because they only list Utah County cities.
