Evil Scientist Academy Summer Camps 2017

These camps will blow you away!

What:

Your kids will love these Science Camps! Our certified "Evil Scientist" instructor has lots of fun things to show and teach kids during the summer to keep them active and learning. Three fun four day camps where kids learn over the summer about various elements of science in a fun way with lots of cool tests, experiments, and explosions!


Who:

Boys and girls in grades kindergarten - 6th grade (2016/2017 school year)
 

When: 


  • June 5-8, 2017 (Monday-Thursday): Minion Science Lab
  • June 19-22, 2017 (Monday-Thursday): Chemical Chaos Lab
  • July 25-28, 2017 (Tuesday-Friday): Aerospace Domination

Time:

9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.


Where:

Day Barn Indoor Pavilion (1166 E. Pioneer Rd. in Draper) and/or Draper Park North Pavilion (12500 S. 1300 E. in Draper). **Note: June 6, 2017June 20, 2017 and July 25, 2017 classes will be held at the Draper Park North Pavilion, all other classes will be held at the Day Barn Indoor Pavilion.

All summer science camps will open March 1, 2017Registration deadlines are as follows:
  • Minion Science Lab: June 1, 2017
  • Chemical Chaos Lab: June 15, 2017
  • Aerospace Domination: July 20, 2017
Online registration is available. Registration may also be done in person at the Draper Parks & Recreation Office (1020 E. Pioneer Rd., bottom floor, enter on the west side).

 


Minion Science Lab

Crazy Minion antics and disastrous science experiments abound when the minions take over the lab. 
When: June 5-8, 2017
Experiments Include: Dry Ice Freeze Rays, Annoying Sound Effects, Melting Metal in Hot Water, Stinky Fart Blasters, and Super Loud Air Horns
Registration deadline: June 1, 2017 


Chemical Chaos Lab

This lab features tons of amazing hands-on experiments and chemical reactions as students learn more about matter and chemistry.
When: June 19-22, 2017
Experiments include: Green Fire Tornadoes, Bouncing Fog Bubbles, Colorful Soda Geysers, Gooey Blue Slime, and Huge Monster Bubbles
Registration deadline: June 15, 2017


Aerospace Domination

Explore the science of rocketry and flight, and rule the skies!
When: July 25-28, 2017
Experiments include: Flying Toilet Paper, Riding a Hover Disk, Remote Control Air Shank, Chemical-Powered Space Rockets, Giant Balloons, and Awesome Paper Airplanes
Registration deadline: July 20, 2017 


Program Registration Refund Policy:

  • A $10.00 bookkeeping fee is non-refundable for each program/registration.
  • Refund requests made before the registration period/deadline has ended will receive a full refund minus the $10.00 bookkeeping fee.
  • After the registration period/deadline has ended, a refund of 50% of program fee will be offered.
  • No refunds will be offered once the program has started, beginning with the first class, first lesson, coaches meeting, etc.
