NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING: 

Notice is hereby given that Draper City will hold a public hearing before the Planning Commission on February 27, 2020, to receive public comment on a request by Dave Kallas, representing Geneva Rock Products, Inc. on the property located at approximately 15547 South Minuteman Dr. for a Land Use Map Amendment for approximately 64.35 acres from Residential Low/Medium Density to Open Space and Parks and approximately 27 acres from Residential Low/Medium Density to Industrial and Manufacturing, and a Zoning Map Amendment for approximately 64.35 acres from A5 (Agricultural, 5 acre lot minimum) to OS (Open Space) and approximately 27 acres from A5 to M2 (Major Manufacturing), and a Text Amendment to allow Basic Industry and Mineral Extraction as permitted uses in the M2 zone, and a Development Agreement setting the standards for use and ownership on approximately 64.35 acres of open space and acknowledging the future mining of approximately 27 acres and the future use of an additional approximate 50.2 acres.
