Surplus of Property at 690 East 12100 South: ITEM CONTINUED
This application is a request for approval to declare property that was formally a public right-of-way at 690 East 12100 South in the Draperville Plat as surplus, and authorize the sale of the property. The area was vacated as public right-of-way on January 14, 2020. The site is approximately 2,392 square feet located on the south side of 12100 South, at approximately 690 East 12100 South. The property is currently zoned RA2. At the time the property was vacated as public right-of-way, the inclusion of the property surplus was not included in the City Council action. Therefore, it would need to be declared surplus now. Item was continued to a future meeting in order to further study the impact of the surplus along the street.
Extension of Fireworks Restriction Area (Draper Pkwy to 1300 East): APPROVED
The Draper City Fire Department proposed to extend the fireworks restrictions area along the UTA Trax from Draper Parkway to 1300 East. This will include the land north of the Trax line in this area and create a contiguous north border along the UTA Trax line and protect the area with dry brush behind the IFA and the 1300 East retail shopping area.
