VOTE BY MAIL:   If you are an active registered voter, your ballot will be mailed the week of October 14th.  Watch for your ballot in your mailbox.  Just fill out the form, sign the envelope,  and send it in the mail.  Make sure you postmark your ballot on or before November 4, 2019 (the day before the election).  You can also drop off your ballot at an Early Voting Location or on Election Day by 8:00 p.m.  You can drop off your ballot prior to Election Day at the Draper Library and at Draper City during Early Voting and on Election Day.

VOTE EARLY IN PERSON:   You can vote at Draper City Hall, 1020 E. Pioneer Road. PLEASE NOTE:  You will need a photo I.D. in order to vote in person.

  • Wednesday, October 30, 2019, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, October 31,  2019, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
  • Friday, November 1, 2019, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.
  • Monday, November 4, 2019, from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Early Voting is for those people who:

  • Did not receive a ballot for various reasons, including those who did not re-register with their current address. (Those who were registered but moved and didn’t update their address, may vote by showing ID and proof of residency.)
  • Would like to utilize same-day voter registration. The law allows for voter registration at Early Voting Locations and Election Day Vote Centers. (Identification AND proof of residency are required to register and vote on the same day.)
  • Individuals who need the amenities of the electronic voting machines, which offer an audio ballot and enlarged text.

VOTE ON ELECTION DAY:  You can vote in person on the day of the election at Draper City Hall, 1020 E. Pioneer Road.  

PLEASE NOTE:  You will need a photo I.D. in order to vote in person.

Q: How can I register to vote?  

 If you have questions about how to register to vote, please click on one of the county links below.  

Draper City is unique because some of its residents reside in Salt Lake County, and other residents living in the SunCrest community, live in Utah County.  You must be registered to vote in the county in which you reside. 

Q: I have moved since I last voted. Do I need to register to vote again?  Yes, you will need to register to vote with your new address.

Q: How can I check whether I'm registered to vote?  Go to, click on "Voter Info/Track Ballot," and enter your information. You can also contact your county clerk.

Q: Will I get a mail ballot? All active registered voters in the state, except those living in Carbon and Emery Counties, will automatically receive their ballot in the mail. 

Q: When do I need to send my ballot?  Make sure your ballot is postmarked on or before November 4, 2019 -- that's the day before Election Day. If you forget, you can always drop off your ballot on Election Day at your county clerk's office, a polling location, or a ballot drop box.

Q: Can I vote in person on Election Day? Yes, you can vote in person at these locations.  Draper City and all other polling locations are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5th, 2019.
